A Poem about the Human condition and need and the quest for having the courage to be true to oneself. It is in the Hindi Language from the Indian movie Pink. 


तू खुद की खोज में निकल
तू किस लिए हताश है
तू चल तेर वजूद की
समय को भी तलाश है।

Embark on the quest to find yourself
Why are you dismal?
Go on to find your purpose,
Even time seeks this answer.

चरित्र जब पवित्र है
तो क्यों है ये दशा तेरी?
पापीयों को हक नहीं
कि ले परीक्षा तेरी।

If the spirit is pure,
then why do you suffer?
It is not the place of sinners,
to question you!

जला के भस्म कर उसे
जो क्रूरता का जाल है
तू आरती की लौ नहीं
तू क्रोध की मशाल है।

Burn those to ashes
those who set the traps of cruelty
You are not a flame of devotion
You are the blazing torch of ferocity.

चुनर उढ़ा के ध्वज बना
गगन भी कपकपायेगा
अगर तेरी चुनर गिरी
तो एक भूकंप आएगा।।

Let fly your veil as a flag,
And the skies shudder!
If your veil drops,
in its wake, the Earth quivers.
