We are doomed to love

Those who we want to love

need to love

ache to love.

And what of those who love us;

How much must they shower

upon us; unbidden

love?

in quiet in-exactitude.

Only to watch us

fix our gaze, steadfastly,

upon the form of

our Love.

They watch us,

until those we love

enter us

absorbed in our entity

sprouting inside us

rooting for nourishment

lush pink lotuses

in a teeming pond…

An exact cohesion ensues,

each cell powered

by this combustion;

the lotus derives

nourishment now,

it blossoms, opening

its soft, lustrous petals,

a shimmering saga of the night.

The pond, a resplendent

aquatic being of light.

Its beauty, irrevocably

enhanced, enshrined inside

an influx of new life

an orchestra of biological

orgasms, arching

as the symbiotic

micro-ecosystems

lock into place.

Springing forth new life,

as they follow the Sun.

Unlike an inundation

of incohesive love,

This is the love that

is deserved,

exactly, as it is

received in harmony,

In spite of apparent doom.
